World famous atheist Richard Dawkins was asked by Jarvis Cocker musician (who was co. editing a BBC radio 4 today program) His question was simple as an atheist what do you do for Christmas?
Ok any guesses what the reply was?
I Celebrate Christmas we open presents have a traditional Christmas meal and sing carols; he stressed however that he did not go to church.
He also recalled with great pride that in recent years he has joined the choir at Kings College in their traditional Christmas carol service.
When asked about if he thought god was needed either as strength or in some imaginary way Richard Dawkins replied that he felt that god was a sign of a pitiful imagination and that as humans we can imagine far better and more substantial things
He also felt that most atheists would continue to celebrate Christmas pritty much like the vast population here in the west
