The thing is you can get used to the odd times the phone freezes, although all my other phones never had this problem its a little inconvenient but turning it off and back on usually solves the problem

Not yesterday, major problems.

You see it opened up the ipod function and sort of froze, I say sort of I could navigate through the ipod features, play skip scroll through my music but that was it.

I could not move to any other feature and nether the soft or hard shut down would work; my fiend sent a text and phoned but again although it showed a text had arrived and the phone call as I tried to open or accept the call it just returned to the ipod. A loop

When I got home it would not even connect to the computer or charge, a message that it was not recognized was flagged up.

Eventually some 3 hours later it did connect to the computer and I took the option of returning it to the manufacturers settings along process, AHH!

thankfully the date was  backed up, but as most of the date I needed, work rota, client information and e-mails I realize the implications it could have had.

I cannot find any info on this fault, how to remedy it or if it could happen again, my faith in the iphone has been severely knocked and I am thinking of asking if I could exchange it for a blackberry
